We
travel approximately 160 km’s on the
Tsiribihina
river,
the trip is relaxing and you will enjoy calls of birds such as
bee-eater, coucal, pied crow… Water birds, fruit bats, lemurs and a
large variety of wildlife will accompany us on our river cruise.
On
the river we will see dense vegetation along the banks, towering
cliffs and baobab forests. Pass several ranges of wooded hills through the Gorge of Bemaraha with its steep rocks before we stop at Anosin' Ampela, a
wonderful waterfall where we can refresh ourselves with a natural
waterfall as our shower.

We continue on passing through diverse landscapes, isolated natural
wilderness beside the Tsiribihina River, reminding us how far away we
are from home. Passing villages where the river kids smile and
ecstatically wave their hands with excitement.
Three
nights camping in tents, meals are served on the shore. Campsites on
the Tsiribihina
River are usually large sandbars with smooth and clean tent sites.
